Clara says, "I am excited to join St. Patrick School because of the small, community feel of the school. I grew up going to small Catholic Schools, so I hope to be right at home here!" We are excited to announce Briar Luchtenburg as our Student of the Month! Briar consistently demonstrates a willingness to take on challenges and has made remarkable academic progress. Not only is he eager to learn and excel, but he is also always willing to lend a helping hand to his classmates and actively seeks opportunities to assist others. We are thrilled to recognize Alyssa Jones as our Teacher of the Month. Alyssa's bubbly personality and infectious enthusiasm bring joy to both her students and fellow staff members. As a Preschool teacher, she continuously strives to grow and take on additional responsibilities, demonstrating her dedication to her role and the education of her students. Alyssa's willingness to extend her help to all children and staff members, beyond just the preschoolers, is inspiring and encouraging. We are delighted to honor Jen Braden as our April Staff Member of the Month. Jen is a true jack-of-all-trades, always ready and willing to help out wherever she is needed, be it in any of the classrooms or on the playground. During recess she comes up with creative and engaging games while ensuring fair play for all. Ella Isaacson is our April Student of the Month! Ella is not only a fantastic student, but she is also an incredible friend to everyone in the classroom. She encourages her peers when learning new things. Ella always demonstrates a willingness to lend a hand, and she leads by example. Even when distractions arise, Ella stays on task, always focused on achieving her goals. She may only be 5 years old but she is mature beyond her years.

St. Patrick School would like to welcome Vanessa Milliman as the 2023-2024 5th and 6th Grade Teacher. Vanessa is a graduate of Mount Mercy University. St. Patrick School would like to welcome Sara Kula as the 2023-2024 1st Grade Teacher. Sara is a familiar face that has been at St. Patrick School for many years and has helped in several roles. With Sara's most recent accomplishment of finishing her teaching degree we are thrilled to add her to our teaching staff! With the addition of Sara as the 1st Grade teacher, 1st and 2nd grade will now become their own classes with Jennifer Revelle returning as the 2nd Grade Teacher. Click here to read more about Sara.

March Student of the Month is kindergartener Harper Simon. Harper's heartwarming acts of kindness and support for her peers and school staff have earned her Student of the Month. She is quick to help others when she sees they are in need, and she does it without being asked. Most recently, Harper noticed a classmate who was not sure what to do with his worksheet so Harper jumped into action to quickly help show him how! Harper always has a positive attitude and a big smile on her face. Congrats to Harper on a job well done!

We want to recognize a well known face at St. Patrick School, Terrie Prybil, as Staff Member of the Month! Terrie wears many hats on a daily basis and does an excellent job with all of it. Most recently, she worked closely with Beth Fitzmaurice to help teachers and students thrive. Terrie is warm and friendly to everyone that walks in the door. Terrie is incredibly hard working and dedicated to our students, teachers and staff. Terrie is a great listener and voice of reason to all who come into her office. She goes above and beyond to make sure everything at St. Patrick School runs smoothly and successfully each and every day. Thank you, Terrie!

February's Staff Member of the Month is Mr. Tim Hollett. Mr. Hollett is willing to help anyone any day any time and he does it with enthusiasm! Mr. Hollett shows positivity to EVERY Student and staff member, it is contagious and you can help but flash him a smile. He is always encouraging students to give their best. And with someone as upbeat and energentic as him, it should come as no surprise, that PE is EVERYONES favorite class. 

We are recognizing Westin Isaacson as February's Student of the month. Westin has been recognized as the Student of the Month becuase he doesn't shy away when something is hard, but works harder to achieve the goal. This attitude not only helps him in his studies but also sets an example to those around him. He never lets things get him down and always has a smile. Westin is very respectful to his teachers and other students and he can always manage to make his friends laugh.

January’s Teacher of the Month is Ms. Josie McDermott. Josie has been a wonderful addition to our teaching staff at St. Patrick School. Josie consistently exhibits a growth mindset in not only her lesson planning and instruction, but also in developing student’s academic and behavior goals. Josie has a knack for connecting and relating to students, which has helped her build strong relationship with students. Other terrific attributes that personify Josie include her organizational skills, her work ethic, her collaborative nature, and the empathy and patience she shows for students and staff. January’s Student of the Month is Meghan Kula. Meghan is a self-disciplined, responsible, and diligent student. She always models thoughtfulness and a willingness to assist and serve others. Meghan exhibits confidence is singing during school masses. Meghan is endowed with positive personality traits and essential skills that serve her well. December’s Teacher of the Month is Sue Cook. Sue has been a dedicated member of the St. Patrick School staff for the last 24 years. Sue has served St. Patrick School all 24 years in her current capacity as Preschool Paraprofessional. Sue always ensures students are learning in a safe and supportive learning environment as she fosters and models positive, trusting relationships. December’s Student of the Month is Landon Schuster. Landon displays exemplary leadership by being respectful, patient, responsible, and well-mannered. During mass, Landon follows the Catholic rituals and traditions and always prays his prayers with conviction.
